Recently, the 300,000-ton functional paper‑based and auxiliary materials project of Shandong Tai’an Yuanwang Energy Investment (Thai‑China Specialty Paper) has been successfully commissioned. Hunan Zhengding Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. undertook the project’s five production lines, including their enclosed hoods, ventilation systems, and heat recovery systems. The first phase—delivering and putting into stable operation lines PM5 and PM6—has been completed, laying a solid foundation for the project’s large‑scale production.
The 300,000-ton functional paper base and auxiliary materials construction project of Shandong Taian Yuanwang Energy Investment (Taizhong Specialty Paper) has successfully started production. Hunan Zhengding Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. undertook the sealed hoods, ventilation systems, and heat recovery systems for the five production lines of the project. The first phase, PM5 and PM6 lines, has been delivered and is running stably, laying a solid foundation for large-scale production of the project.
This project is a key industrial initiative in Tai’an City, primarily focused on the production of high-end specialty paper to replace imported products and fill a domestic market gap, with exceptionally stringent standards for both the production environment and the quality of the finished paper.
The PM5 and PM6 production lines, supported by Zhengding Environmental, feature a PM5 paper machine with a design speed of 400 m/min, capable of stably producing specialty papers in the 180–400 g/m² range, and achieving a post‑commissioning capacity of 175 t/d. The PM6 paper machine boasts a design speed of 500 m/min, able to consistently produce specialty papers from 60 to 150 g/m², with a post‑commissioning capacity of 97.5 t/d. With both lines now completed and operational, Taian Paper’s production capacity will be significantly expanded, helping to optimize its market footprint.
Such electronic-grade functional papers require a clean surface free of powder or fiber shedding and consistent performance. Consequently, they impose stringent requirements on the paper machine’s ventilation, drying, and temperature-control systems.
The Zhengding Environmental supporting PM5 and PM6 production lines, with the PM5 paper machine designed for a speed of 400m/min, can stably produce 180-400g/m² specialty paper, reaching a capacity of 175t/day after commissioning; the PM6 paper machine, designed for a speed of 500m/min, can stably produce 60-150g/m² specialty paper, reaching a capacity of 97.5t/day after commissioning. Once the two production lines are operational, they will greatly enhance Taian Paper's production scale and help improve its market layout.

Zhengding Environmental’s enclosed hood ventilation and heat recovery system is entirely custom‑designed and engineered based on the project’s actual operating conditions. By integrating core data—including paper machine operating parameters, on‑site heat source characteristics, local outdoor meteorological conditions, and cylinder‑section ventilation process parameters—the system undergoes comprehensive, high‑precision modeling and detailed calculations of airflow rates, thermal performance, and static pressure.
Through customized hood‑ventilation process design, the paper machine’s dryer section achieves uniform ventilation and stable drying, meeting the stringent quality requirements of high‑end specialty papers. Coupled with a tailored heat‑recovery system configuration, this approach maximizes the recovery of waste heat from the drying process, minimizes thermal losses, and significantly reduces steam consumption and production costs—delivering an integrated solution that enhances paper quality, ensures reliable system operation, and drives energy savings and cost reductions.
