Algeria Jielong Paper Industry
Project Overview
- Algeria Jielong Paper is a papermaking enterprise with considerable production scale and market influence in Africa. The enterprise launched a new project with a four-roll three-nip paper machine of 4400 mm web width and a design speed of 550 m/min, aiming to optimize its production capacity structure, improve operational efficiency and strengthen core product competitiveness. The project sets high requirements for the supporting hood and ventilation systems in terms of operational stability, machine adaptability and drying efficiency.
- Leveraging its mature product portfolio and extensive overseas project experience, Zhengding Environment provides a custom integrated solution for the hood and ventilation system, offering full support for equipment delivery and reliable operation. The line reached designed capacity immediately after startup, with stable and dependable system operation that fully meets the demands for continuous high-quality production. This project further expands Zhengding Environment’s reference cases in Africa and builds solid project experience and execution capability for further development of the global papermaking supporting market.
Scope of Supply
- Custom dedicated hood system is supplied for the 4400 mm wide, 550 m/min medium-speed four-roll three-nip paper machine.
- A custom paper machine ventilation system is provided to meet the process requirements of air supply & exhaust and drying dehumidification, ensuring balanced and stable working conditions.
Core technology
- For the open-type hood structure and wide-width medium-speed production conditions of this project, combined with the delivery requirements for this overseas African project, a tailor-made matching scheme is developed to balance operational stability, process adaptability and maintainability of the equipment.
- Computational fluid dynamics simulation is adopted to optimize internal airflow organization. The ratio of supply and exhaust air as well as airflow routes are scientifically arranged to maintain balanced and steady airflow inside the hood, avoiding local flow field turbulence and ensuring uniform and stable drying across the entire web.
- The dedicated moisture exhaust channel structure is upgraded to greatly improve the dehumidification capacity of the system. It quickly drains moisture generated during production, fundamentally preventing hood condensation and sheet rewetting to stabilize finished paper quality.
- The whole system is highly adapted to the continuous production rhythm of four-roll three-nip paper machines. It features steady working conditions and a low failure rate, supporting long-term continuous, high-quality and stable production and achieving the excellent result of reaching rated capacity right after startup.
