Yuechang Nanchangjiang Paper Industry
I. Project Background
Vietnam Nanchangjiang Paper is a leading household paper company in Vietnam, enjoying strong market influence and a prominent industry position within the regional household paper sector. The company has launched the TM16 high-end household paper production line project to build premium‑grade capacity, further enhancing its market competitiveness.
The project’s paper machine operates at high speeds and on a large production scale, placing stringent demands on the compatibility, energy efficiency, operational stability, and compliance with environmental standards of its associated hood, hot-air, and dust-collection systems.
ZDET has provided the project with Yankee dryers, intelligent hot-air systems, and high-efficiency dust-collection systems, ensuring stable commissioning. The successful implementation of this project has further expanded ZDET’s portfolio of high-end papermaking projects in Southeast Asia, while accumulating practical experience for expanding into overseas markets.
II. Project Overview
This project involves the TM16 high‑grade household tissue production line at Viet Nam’s Nanchangjiang Paper Mill, featuring a paper machine with a web width of 3,550 mm and a maximum operating speed of 1,700 m/min, making it a high‑speed tissue machine. ZDET was responsible for customizing the design, supplying the associated equipment, and providing technical services for the Yankee hood, hot‑air system, and dust‑collection system. The project has now been successfully commissioned and put into operation, with all systems running stably and seamlessly integrated with the paper machine, delivering excellent results in terms of stable, efficient production.

IV. Proposal Overview
In response to the project’s key characteristics—high-speed production of household paper, high operating speeds, energy conservation and consumption reduction, and compliance with workshop environmental standards—ZDET has developed a customized solution. The system incorporates an efficient, energy-saving Yankee hood design that reduces steam consumption and enhances heat recovery, thereby achieving significant energy savings. A hot‑air drying system is integrated to precisely control temperature and humidity, optimize the drying curve, and ensure superior paper quality even at high production speeds. Additionally, a dust‑collection system is installed to effectively manage process‑generated particulates, meeting local environmental regulations and improving the workshop’s working environment.
