Project Overview
- C&S Paper is a leading listed enterprise in China’s tissue paper industry with multi-base layouts nationwide, large-scale production lines and high equipment standards. The original hood and hot air systems on multiple tissue paper lines equipped with Toscotec and Kawashima BF paper machines suffer from aging issues, uneven hot air distribution and degraded operational stability, calling for systematic upgrading and retrofitting. Leveraging its proven experience in retrofitting original tissue machine models in the Yankee Hood sector, Zhengding Environment won the bid for the overall renovation project of Yankee Hoods and hot air systems for 14 BF paper machines across multiple C&S Paper bases nationwide. With professional solutions, reliable delivery and high-quality service, Zhengding Environment has become a core retrofitting service provider for C&S Paper, further consolidating its leading position in the retrofitting market of original high-end tissue paper machines.
- This project covers a total of 14 Toscotec and Kawashima BF tissue machines at various C&S Paper sites. All retrofitted machines were successfully commissioned at the first attempt. The hood sealing performance, hot air uniformity and drying efficiency have been greatly improved, while energy consumption is effectively reduced, fully meeting original equipment manufacturer standards and high-efficiency production requirements.
Scope of Supply
- Zhengding Environment undertakes the upgrading and retrofitting of Yankee Hoods for 14 original Toscotec and Kawashima BF tissue paper machines across multiple bases, complying with the original machine structure and installation standards.
- It completes the optimized retrofitting of hot air systems for all these paper machines, matching the hot air flow path and production process of the original equipment.
- The scope covers pre-project site survey, customized solution design, equipment structure optimization, sealing upgrade, air nozzle rectification and other full-range retrofitting work.
- Zhengding Environment provides full supporting services including installation guidance, hot air system commissioning and startup debugging, ensuring efficient implementation and stable commissioning of projects at multiple bases.
Core technology
- Tailored to the retrofitting requirements for original machines, exclusive renovation solutions are customized based on the original structure, Yankee cylinder dimensions, hot air flow direction and installation boundaries of Toscotec and Kawashima BF paper machines. The sealing structure, nozzle angle and airflow organization are precisely matched to realize in-situ replacement and non-destructive retrofitting, restoring the original equipment performance to a high degree.
- In line with the process standards for Yankee tissue production, the overall hood sealing, end face sealing and inlet & outlet air seal structures are comprehensively upgraded. Hot air distribution and airflow field uniformity are optimized to effectively boost drying efficiency and cut steam consumption, eliminating condensation, water dripping and web fluttering during production.
- A standardized batch retrofitting model for multiple machines is adopted, with standardized renovation modules developed for identical machine types. Construction procedures, product quality and delivery schedules are unified to achieve short shutdown time, fast startup and high-efficiency retrofits. This guarantees continuous and stable production of lines at each base and meets the demand for synchronous upgrades across multiple bases of large groups.
