Project Overview
- Henan Xianhe Special Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. (Xianhe Co., Ltd.), a leading listed enterprise in China’s specialty paper industry, specializes in the R&D and production of high-end specialty paper and tissue paper. Its newly built specialty paper and tissue paper production lines impose strict requirements on the drying system in terms of uniformity, stability, energy efficiency and operational reliability. Zhengding Environment provides customized hood ventilation and heat recovery system solutions for the client, further consolidating its benchmark position in the drying sector for high-end specialty paper.
- All production lines were successfully commissioned at the first startup and operate stably up to standards, fully complying with the production process specifications for high-end specialty paper.
Scope of Supply
- The fully customized Yankee Hood system is suitable for the specialty paper production conditions of multiple paper machines with widths of 1760 mm, 2640 mm and 3200 mm and a design speed range of 400–500 m/min for this project.
- Supported by a complete hot air system, it ensures stable hot air circulation and uniform drying on the production line.
- The pocket ventilation system optimizes the pocket ventilation environment of the paper machine to maintain stable web running.
- The high-efficiency heat recovery system adapts to the project conditions to realize energy saving and efficient operation. Meanwhile, Zhengding Environment provides one-stop full-process services including project design, fabrication, supply, installation, commissioning and startup support to guarantee stable and standard-compliant operation of the production line.
Core technology
- Combined with the local conditions in Henan featuring four distinct seasons and obvious fluctuations in temperature and humidity, the ratio of fresh air pre-treatment and waste heat recovery is optimized to meet customized requirements for system temperature control, stable air volume, high energy efficiency and long-term reliability. It improves the system’s adaptability to temperature and humidity variations, ensuring stable equipment operation throughout the year with remarkable energy-saving performance.
- The system is custom-designed according to machine speed and evaporation load. Air volume, air pressure and heat distribution are precisely calculated based on actual operating speed, web width, paper basis weight and evaporation capacity, so that the drying curve matches the process requirements. It prevents over-drying or under-drying and guarantees uniform thickness and consistent quality of finished paper.
- Customized designs are available for specialty paper and tissue paper processes. To satisfy requirements on surface quality, strength and cleanliness of specialty paper, the hood structure and air outlet angle are optimized to achieve uniform penetration drying with low airflow disturbance and high stability, avoiding web fluttering, defects, fiber shedding and dusting.
