Project Overview

  • Henan Xianhe Special Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. (Xianhe Shares), a leading publicly listed company in China’s specialty paper industry, focuses on the R&D and production of high-end specialty papers and sanitary papers. The newly built production lines for specialty papers and sanitary papers impose stringent requirements on the uniformity, stability, energy efficiency, and operational reliability of the drying systems. Zhengding Environment has provided a customized hood‑ventilation and heat‑recovery system solution, further reinforcing the company’s position as a benchmark in the field of high‑end specialty paper drying.
  • All production lines were successfully commissioned on the first attempt and have been operating steadily in compliance with specifications, fully meeting the process standards for high-end specialty paper.

 

Scope of Supply

  • A complete, customized Yankee hood system, tailored to meet the production requirements of this project for specialty paper grades at design speeds of 400–500 m/min, and compatible with multiple paper machines featuring web widths of 1,760 mm, 2,640 mm, and 3,200 mm.
  • Equipped with a complete hot-air system, it ensures stable hot-air circulation and uniform drying across the production line.
  • The baghouse ventilation system optimizes the ventilation conditions in the paper machine’s baghouse area, ensuring stable web operation.
  • An efficient heat recovery system, tailored to the project’s operating conditions, delivers energy savings and high‑efficiency operation. It also provides end‑to‑end, one‑stop services covering project design, manufacturing, supply, installation, commissioning, and startup support, ensuring stable, compliant performance of the production line.

 

Core technology

  • Taking into account the distinct seasonal variations and pronounced temperature–humidity fluctuations characteristic of Henan’s climate, we have tailored the system to meet specific requirements for precise temperature control, stable airflow, energy efficiency, and long-term reliability. By optimizing the balance between fresh-air pre‑treatment and waste‑heat recovery, we have enhanced the system’s adaptability to changing temperature and humidity conditions, ensuring year-round stable operation and delivering outstanding energy‑saving performance.
  • Custom-designed to match vehicle speed and evaporation load, it precisely calculates airflow, air pressure, and heat distribution based on actual vehicle speed, web width, paper basis weight, and evaporation rate, ensuring that the drying curve aligns with the process requirements. This eliminates both over‑drying and under‑drying, guaranteeing uniform paper thickness and consistent quality.
  • Custom-designed according to the manufacturing processes of specialty papers and tissue papers, this system optimizes the air hood structure and outlet angle to meet stringent requirements for surface quality, strength, and cleanliness, delivering uniform penetration, low turbulence, and highly stable drying while preventing sheet flutter, defects, and fiber or powder shedding.
