Zhongshun Jierou

Project Overview

  • Zhongshun Jierou is a leading publicly listed company in China’s household paper industry, with a nationwide network of production bases, large-scale production lines, and high‑standard equipment. At several of its facilities, the original hood and hot‑air systems on Toscotec and Kawa no E River BF tissue machines have suffered from aging, uneven hot‑air distribution, and declining operational stability, necessitating comprehensive upgrades. Leveraging its proven expertise in retrofitting original‑equipment hood systems for household paper Yankee cylinders, Zhengding Environmental won the bid to undertake the complete overhaul of Yankee hoods and hot‑air systems on 14 BF tissue machines across Zhongshun Jierou’s multiple sites. Through tailored solutions, reliable delivery, and premium service, Zhengding has become Zhongshun Jierou’s core transformation partner, further solidifying its position as a market leader in upgrading original‑equipment tissue machines for high‑end household paper.
  • This project encompassed a total of 14 Toscotec and Kawa no E River BF tissue machines across multiple Zhongshun Jierou production sites. All upgraded machines were commissioned successfully on the first attempt, with notable improvements in hood sealing, hot-air uniformity, and drying efficiency, alongside a significant reduction in energy consumption, fully meeting both the original equipment manufacturer’s specifications and high‑efficiency production requirements.

Scope of Supply

  • We undertook the upgrade and retrofit of 14 Toscotec and Kawanoe BF original‑equipment tissue paper machines across multiple sites, ensuring compatibility with the original equipment’s structural design and installation standards.
  • The optimization and retrofit of the entire series of paper machine hot-air systems have been completed, aligning with the original paper machine’s hot-air pathways and production processes.
  • Responsible for the full scope of equipment retrofitting, including preliminary on-site surveys, customized solution design, equipment structural optimization, sealing upgrades, and nozzle modifications.
  • We provide end-to-end, turnkey services, including installation guidance, hot-air system commissioning, and startup testing, ensuring the efficient implementation and stable production of multi-site projects.

Core technology

  • Tailored to meet the retrofit requirements of the original equipment, this solution is custom‑designed based on the factory‑original structure of the TOSK and KAWANISHI BF paper machines, including Yankee cylinder dimensions, hot‑air flow paths, and installation constraints. It precisely matches the sealing configuration, nozzle angles, and airflow patterns, enabling in‑situ replacement and non‑destructive retrofitting while fully restoring the original equipment’s performance.
  • Compliant with the Yankee dryer production process standards for tissue paper, this product features a comprehensive upgrade of the hood’s overall sealing, end-face sealing, and inlet/outlet air‑seal designs. It also optimizes hot‑air distribution and airflow uniformity, effectively boosting drying efficiency, reducing steam consumption, and eliminating issues such as condensation, dripping, and paper drift during production.
  • By adopting a standardized, multi‑machine batch‑retrofit approach, we have established standardized retrofit modules for identical equipment models, unifying construction processes, product quality, and delivery schedules. This enables short line‑stop durations, rapid production ramp‑up, and efficient upgrades, ensuring continuous, stable operations across all sites and meeting the needs of large corporate groups for synchronized, multi‑site modernization.
