Jamuna Paper Mill, Bangladesh

Jamuna Paper Mill, Bangladesh

Project Overview

  • The Jamuna Paper Mill in Bangladesh is a locally established paper manufacturer with substantial scale, strength, and market influence, enjoying a stable position in the regional paper industry. By constructing new production lines and upgrading existing facilities, the company has optimized its capacity mix, enhanced production efficiency, and strengthened the core competitiveness of its products. At the same time, it has set stringent, standardized requirements for the operational stability, energy consumption control, equipment compatibility, and ease of subsequent maintenance of its enclosed hood systems.
  • This project is under the general contract of Shandong Xinhe Paper Engineering Co., Ltd. Zhengding Environment has tailored a complete, simplified enclosed hood system for the project, assuming full responsibility for system design, equipment supply, and specialized technical services. Following commissioning, the equipment has demonstrated stable operation, uniform drying conditions, and high overall compatibility, meeting the production line’s requirements for continuous operation as well as energy‑efficient maintenance. This project further strengthens Zhengding Environment’s overseas project portfolio in the South Asian market and reinforces its position as a benchmark provider of simplified hood solutions for medium‑speed, wide‑web paper machines in international markets.

Scope of Supply

  • Customized, integrated, simple enclosed hood system, tailored to the operating conditions of a medium-speed paper machine with a web width of 4,560 mm and a wire speed of 550 m/min.
  • We provide tailored project planning, turnkey equipment supply, on-site adaptation, and end-to-end technical services to ensure the high-quality implementation and stable commissioning of overseas projects.

Core technology

  • Specifically tailored for the project’s operating conditions—4,560 mm wide web and a medium speed of 550 m/min—this solution integrates the core requirements of high‑quality production, low‑consumption operation and maintenance, and superior cost‑effectiveness as seen in overseas projects. It features a customized, simplified enclosed hood design that strikes an optimal balance among equipment usability, operational stability, and economic efficiency, aligning seamlessly with the standardized production standards of overseas paper machines.

  • Optimize the hood’s airtight sealing and lightweight thermal insulation structure; by simplifying the equipment design, this effectively reduces heat loss, enhances thermal energy utilization, significantly lowers energy consumption on the production line, and ensures long-term, continuous, energy‑efficient operation.
  • The equipment’s overall layout has been streamlined and its structural dimensions optimized to accommodate overseas on-site installation conditions, ensuring high installation versatility and efficient construction. At the same time, the equipment’s structure has been simplified to reduce subsequent maintenance and operation costs, meeting the requirements of overseas project implementation and long-term, stable operations.
  • Scientific optimization of internal airflow management and exhaust system design ensures a balanced temperature field within the hood and stable drying conditions, mitigating issues such as uneven drying. This supports the continuous, smooth operation of wide‑web paper machines and is well suited to the routine, high‑intensity production demands of medium‑speed paper machines.
