Algeria Jielong Paper Industry

Algeria Jielong Paper Industry

Project Overview

  • Algeria Jielong Paper is a leading paper manufacturer in Africa, renowned for its scale, strength, and market influence. The company has launched a new project to install a 4,400 mm–wide, 550 m/min four‑drum, three‑press paper machine, aimed at optimizing its capacity mix, enhancing production efficiency, and bolstering the core competitiveness of its products. This project sets stringent requirements for the operational stability of the associated hood and ventilation systems, their model compatibility, and the drying process’s overall efficiency.
  • Leveraging its mature product portfolio and extensive experience in overseas project implementation, Zhengding Environment has tailored a comprehensive hood and ventilation system solution for this project, ensuring seamless equipment installation and stable, reliable operation throughout the entire lifecycle. The project achieved full production capacity immediately upon startup, with a system that operates with unwavering stability and reliability, perfectly meeting the demands of continuous, high‑quality production on the line. This project further expands Zhengding Environment’s portfolio of successful installations in the African market, building a solid foundation of project expertise and execution capabilities to sustainably advance its presence in the international paper‑making auxiliary‑equipment market.

Scope of Supply

  • Custom-designed, dedicated hood systems tailored to the operating conditions of a 4,400 mm–wide, 550 m/min medium-speed four‑drum, three‑press paper machine.
  • A customized paper machine ventilation system is provided, tailored to meet the air supply and exhaust requirements of the production line as well as the drying and moisture‑removal processes, ensuring stable and balanced operating conditions.

Core technology

  • In light of the open‑type hood’s structural characteristics and the wide‑width, medium‑speed production conditions of this project, and in alignment with the implementation requirements of overseas projects in Africa, a customized, tailored solution has been developed, balancing equipment operational stability, process‑condition adaptability, and maintenance‑and‑operation performance.

  • Airflow simulation and analysis are employed to optimize the internal airflow configuration, with a scientifically designed supply‑exhaust ratio and carefully mapped airflow paths. This ensures balanced, stable airflow within the hood, eliminates localized turbulence, and guarantees uniform, consistent drying across the entire web.
  • The dedicated dehumidification channel has been upgraded and optimized, significantly enhancing the system’s moisture‑removal efficiency. It swiftly vents the water vapor generated during production, effectively preventing condensation inside the hood and paper surface re‑moisturization at the source, thereby ensuring stable paper quality.
  • The entire system is deeply integrated with the four‑drum, three‑press paper machine to seamlessly match its continuous production rhythm. With stable operating conditions and a low failure rate, it ensures long‑term, continuous, high‑quality, and reliable operation of the production line, delivering outstanding results that achieve full‑capacity output right from startup.
